Revision of Zanclites xenurus, marine teleost (Pisces, Tselfatiiformes) from the Santonian (Upper Cretaceous) of Kansas (United States)

The author studies the osteology of Zanclites xenurus, a fossil teleost from the marine Upper Cretaceous of Kansas. He redefines the genus, shows its autapomorphies, confirms its belonging to the Tselfatiiformes (= Bananogmiiformes) and discusses about its relationships within this taxon.
